Vape Answers is an informational publication. This page sets out the standards we intend to apply to sponsorships, advertising, affiliate links, supplied products and commercial references. It does not assert that any specific commercial relationship currently exists or does not exist.

Editorial independence

Commercial considerations should not determine factual conclusions, health or safety guidance, or the outcome of a product assessment. We aim to separate information supported by evidence from promotional claims.

Affiliate links and sponsorships

If a page includes links that may generate affiliate compensation, that relationship should be disclosed clearly on the relevant page. Sponsored articles and paid placements should also be labelled where they appear. A general policy page does not replace an article-level disclosure.

Product mentions and claims

Mentioning a brand or device does not automatically mean endorsement, personal experience or independent testing. Manufacturer-stated puff counts, specifications and performance figures should be identified as claims when independent verification is unavailable.

Samples and hands-on reviews

If a company supplies a review sample, the relationship should be disclosed. Any claim of hands-on testing should explain what was actually examined, measured or experienced. Desk research should never be presented as a first-hand test.
